Fountain Country Club Remodel.

Our charming Fountain Country Club home is finally done!  This was our first major remodel and we poured our everything into it.  After only 16 days on the market we've found a buyer and are under contract!  Below are before and after pictures.  Enjoy!

Laundry Room

BEFORE: Adjacent to the family room, this space was nothing more than a place for storage.

AFTER: New laundry room!  Before, the laundry was tucked away in the dingy utility room.  We built a wall with ventilated bi-fold doors, brought the appliances out into the open, built a big working counter and... voila!  Unidentified space made totally usable.

Family Room

BEFORE: The lowest level of the house was unfinished when we purchased the property.

AFTER: We added approximately 400 square feet of finished space.

Kiva Room

BEFORE:  Can you spell U-G-L-Y?

AFTER: Invites you to snuggle up with a bottle of wine and enjoy the fire.

Master Bedroom

BEFORE: View into what was a very dis-configured closet space

AFTER:  View into the new walk in closet - to die for!

BEFORE: Dated fixtures and brown baseboards had to go.

AFTER

Master Bath

BEFORE: This vanity and light fixture were original to the 1976 construction of the house

AFTER:  Glamorous!

BEFORE:  The space was constricted and bland.

AFTER: We removed the wall that partitioned the toilet from the rest of the room.  We also moved the wall behind the vanity back 18 inches.  These changes made an undeniable impact on the flow and configuration of the room.

Walk In Closet

BEFORE:  Opposite the master bath there was a jumbled space with two closed closets and a vanity.

BEFORE:  View of the space from the Master Bedroom

AFTER:  We removed the vanity, removed the walls that closed in the two separate closets and created one big walk in closet.  This was a major transformation and a great selling point of the house.
